My Trading Journey

An engineer from Mumbai University, worked for 24 years in Software Industry and got chance to work on the worlds best financial services software.

5 years ago, caught between jobs during Covid, I took my first step into the stock market. What started as a small portfolio with friendly advice turned into a wake-up call when I needed liquidity—and couldn't exit due to drastic losses.

Instead of stepping back, I leaned in. With time and growing curiosity, I dove deep into understanding the market. Though I returned to my corporate job, the market kept pulling me back until I eventually made the leap to full-time trading.

To be successful, I needed structure, discipline, and a mentor. For initial 2 Years, I had been learning, trading, making mistakes, correcting my mistakes and repeating the process. My mentor helped me to shape into a rule based trader, and my past in IT started to connect beautifully with my market journey. I discovered the powerful world of Algorithmic Trading - The future of trading - and started building and refining rule based systems, removing the last blockage, emotions from my trading.
